CAN I USE ALL PURPOSE FLOUR IN PLACE OF BREAD FLOUR?

< Back

In most cases all-purpose flour can be substituted for bread flour in baking. Substitute the same amount of all-purpose flour for the amount of bread flour the recipe calls for.

All-purpose flour has a lower protein content than bread flour so baked goods will have a less chewy texture than when made with bread flour.
